The Jamie Bulger case
I never really followed the case at the time and didn't know any of the details, but the recent discussion about the Oscar-nominated film prompted me to look at its Wiki page.

It's hard to know what to say.

Kids can be vile little brats, but this takes things to a whole new level. It seems to have been more than a prank that went out of control. At what age can kids be evil - in the true sense of the word? Did Venables and Thompson really understand the severity of what they were doing?

That poor little fellow. What must have been going through his mind?

Thank you for your sincere compliment.

Now that I am persuaded not to castrate you with this penknife, I will give it to you, so you can keep it as a souvenir. Because that is an entirely believable and rational thing for me to do.

When i grow up, i want to be just like you!

Re: The Jamie Bulger case
Or, as one of those fucking idiot fantasists alleged, I could take you to the grounds of an obliging aristocratic member of my club, tie your limbs with rope to two different cars, and have the drivers reverse slowly to murder you by pulling your body into several pieces.

That being the standard of the 'evidence' presented by witnesses in support of theory of these networks existing.

Don't worry. If you've reached puberty, you're safe from my clutches.

But I might get MI6 to kill you in a staged hit-and-run.

Nurse,

Watch the clips of John Wedger on YouTube. It will lead you onto other stuff, like what Pwoper, mentioned, as well.

Maybe you believe it, maybe you don't - all im saying is, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it was all true. And, all parties are probably involved, one way or another.

The Law of Averages is a pretty good indicator and I would go along with it. What it cannot do, on it's own, is identify an individual.

That being said, it is possible to set up groups of people based on the most tenuous of common areas and "prove" that , say, half of them must (MUST) be uncle festers; pick your group and go for it: Oxbridge, Lefty, Establishment, dust-binmen, football fans...

If you want a result, statistics gives you the ideal way to get it - seemingly with scientific support.

Re: The Jamie Bulger case
Exactly, W67.

Law of averages suggests there will be some individual paedophiles and other assorted sex criminals among politicians, masons, aristocracy, etc.

But that's not what is being stated here. What is being stated as fact is that these individuals have organised themselves into a social club and share victims, and that they are being actively protected by the police and courts. Not getting away with it due to police incompetence, but actively protected. Ridiculous.

Re: The Jamie Bulger case
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle, had they not murdered poor little Jamie and we could have somehow watched a documentary about how these two kids were brought up and treated by those who were responsible for them, I guess we would by a vast majority be feeling very sorry for them.
Saying that there are I am certain many who have had the same or very similar experiences as those boys and not gone out to kill as children.
I feel very sorry for the mother of Jamie Bulger who rightly so is holding onto a lot of bitterness but it is eating her up, this film in my view is no different to the docs about Fred West or the many other evil bastards who destroy so many lives it had to be made. A child's surroundings do count as to what character they become why must that be held back ?. Mr's Bulger hates one would guess that a different angle has been shone upon her poor sons death and that there may be sympathy for the way the two boys who killed her boy were raised and the terrible conditions they were raised in, but in my view if we learn the reasons that precipitated the evils they did, the better it will be for everyone in society.
